Focusing on ValpoNEXT initiatives No. 8: Strengthening Our Sense of Place and part of No. 5: Protecting Our Natural Resources, ValpoNEXT helps gather community members to discuss issues of neighborhood history and present identity, communicate opportunities for deepening relationships between neighbors, and celebrate the ways Valparaiso citizens care for one another.
ValpoNEXT focuses on Equity and Inclusion in a number of ways:
- We share posts from and support organizations and people that work in a sustainable way to make our community more green
- We share posts from and support organizations and people that work within their neighborhoods to make it clean, safe, and inclusive
- We collaborate with organizations in the area that have missions and visions that align with the ValpoNEXT Vision Plan's initiatives that talk about neighborhood engagement sustainable action toward/natural resource protection (Check out organizations we have worked with HERE)
